Search/Re-search

Search for a journey under unique geographic, time and money conditions will yield the most relevant information only in Curiosio. The killer feature is relevance of search results, and re-search like googling.

Curiosio is powered by Ingeenee — vertical AI — specialized in sole function — smart & fast search for the travel itinerary. To find a solution in huge search space (> 10^100) in practical predictable time (< 10s).

Travelers ask for pictures, videos, and stories. But there is nothing else in Curiosio? There is everything else, integrated with Curiosio. Or vice versa — Curiosio is integrated with everything else.

Google Maps

Google Maps is a superapp for travelers. Curiosio is integrated with Google Maps. Use a desktop browser (fresh versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox). Open Tucson — San Diego trip from the “Curious trips” gallery. Notice the rightmost button [Navigate] in the header above the map, click it. The button is present only in desktop and tablet UI.

In Google Maps, click Driving icon. Notice how Google Maps highlighted all the points of the journey, in bold black on the blue route:

Click one of those points on the route, e.g. Kitt Peak National Observatory.

And now click the picture in the top left corner.

Photos

By default, you will see multiple pictures of the object, the view is called “All”. There are more view options: Latest, By Owner, 360° view, Videos. The list varies for different places.

Panoramas

Click 360° view, enjoy panoramas. Select a panorama from the list on the left, then navigate it in the main big view.

Videos

Simply click Videos option. Could be one, could be multiple clips. I bet Google Maps will integrate with YouTube in the future.

Wiki

For Wikipedia click on the point in Curiosio. You can click it on the map, you can click it in the itinerary, and in the “Breakdowns” list of ordered points. Wikipedia opens on desktop and mobiles. All points and POIs are linked to English Wikipedia. In Beta1 we linked populated places and nature to Wikivoyage. We may repeat this again in the future.

Stories

There are interesting stories about the places, told by interesting people for curious travelers. So far the version with stories is available only in the Lab. We are going to release them a bit later. It will be related to Una Curiosità idea. Stay curious!
