Sharing the results of experimenting with the themes and visual style. It’s running on the public beta8, while we are still working on the next public beta10.

Storytelling

A whole strong story being the trip plan. We took the famous super-hiking story from Mojave, California to Columbia River between Oregon and Washington states, and made it adaptable for you: Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail.

From Wikipedia: “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail is the 2012 memoir by the American writer, author, and podcaster Cheryl Strayed. The memoir describes Strayed’s 1,100-mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail in 1995 as a journey of self-discovery. The book reached №1 on the New York Times Best Seller list, and was the first selection for Oprah’s Book Club 2.0. The film adaptation was released in December 2014 and stars Reese Witherspoon as Cheryl Strayed.” link

You could repeat this journey by car, and do occasional hikes along the route. You can stretch and compress the overall duration to the days you want. You can bend it as you wish.

Visuals

What if all visuals were in the same style? What if that style would be cool itself? What if we don’t do any decorations, but find such style? What if we find something so curious that it exists only in one style?

From Wikipedia: “El Camino Real (The Royal Road) is a historic road linking the 21 Spanish missions of California. Stretching over 600 miles (1000 km) from San Diego in the south to Sonoma in the north, the route traverses much of the state and has been a popular traveler itinerary for California motorists for nearly a century. A trip along El Camino Real offers a fascinating look into California’s history and takes you past scenic coastline, picturesque countryside, and through the heart of the state’s largest cities.” link

This is narrowly themed travel story. If you like the theme then bingo! We are going to ingest many laser focused stories from the web, and from supertravelers. You can take a story you like and bend by points, time, money to the journey you love.

Quirky

Can something be so quirky as Atlas Obscura and so stylish as the above El Camino Real journey? I am sure this theme has a name!

From Wikipedia: “The American Industry Tour showcases the industrial heritage of the north-eastern United States. As many other historical trails in North America, the tour follows migration routes from east to west, with a chronology from colonial times to the present day. Starting in Boston in the 17th and 18th centuries, we visit the 19th century factory clusters around Albany and New York City, and carry on through industrial regions of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan, which had their heyday during the 20th century, ending in Chicago.” link

Concept

Curiosio will grasp the theme that your want implicitly. Via your interaction and emotional intelligence. Just a bunch of next experiments and then a series of implementations until it works right, fast, and beautiful.

Follow your curiosity. Stay tuned!
