Sharing
From today you could share your trip/tour with your friends, family, clients (if you are a travel professional, tailoring exclusive tours for others) via web link. A person on the other end could open the shared trip, review it and modify it. If better trips discovered, they could be shared back. Together in collaboration you can co-design best trips of your life. Notice Share buttons on the right below the map, when you opened a trip plan.
The link aka URL will be copied into clipboard on your device. Then you could insert it into chat message, email, social network etc. So far only Copy Link functionality implemented. We will implement Facebook, Twitter, Messenger, Pinterest and other direct integrations soon.
Marketplace
Till today we have never disclosed what we are building. We are building a marketplace of most curious trips. Sharing of trip plans is a big step towards the marketplace. You could create best trips yourself or together with others. You could create trips for yourselves or for others. As a travel professional or experienced traveler you could help others to travel better. You could do a travel consulting gig and earn money. Others will pay you and they will have a better trip because of you.
Scenario 1. You take a trip you love and create your supertrip from it.
Scenario 2. You create a skeleton of the trip, then travel professional fine tunes it for you.
Scenario 3. Travel professional creates a skeleton of the trip, then you fine tune it for yourselves.
Scenario 4. You and travel professional co-design and co-create a trip together, interactively. You plan in advance before the trip and re-plan during the trip — from now till the end of the trip.
Supertrips
Supertrip scenario deserves special introduction, because you almost do it yourselves, based of the trips by professionals. You could take any trip/tour you like from your friends or from travel blogs or from guidebooks and super-build on top of it your better trip. Here is how it works:
- You take a trip you like — e.g. from a package tour or travel blog — and extract itinerary from it (start location, waypoints, end location, durations at locations, overall duration of the trip, budget).
- Customize itinerary by adding or dropping locations.
- Paste the itinerary/sequence into Curiosio main search field.
- Set duration you want, same or different duration (shorter or longer).
- Set a number of travelers, desired number of cars, desired comfort, curiosity and desired overall budget (less or bigger). Flights must be excluded (so far).
- Click GET TRIP button.
You will create personal trip options, based on the trip you love! Curiosio will try as hard as possible in the whole Computing Universe to route via all desired waypoints, fit into desired duration and desired budget. If there will be cushion by time or budget, Curiosio will propose you more relevant destinations and POIs.
Let’s try it. At your favorite travel authority you loved a trip: 3 weeks in Canada for 2 travelers within $6000, with this mandatory itinerary: Vancouver — Victoria, British Columbia — Jasper National Park — Banff National Park — Calgary. You want a similar trip for 3.5 weeks for 2 travelers and you need two specific mandatory waypoints there— Kelowna and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. All you need to do is simply copy the extended list of travel-through locations into the search field, set duration to 3.5 weeks, and click GET TRIP button.

Any existing trip/tour from any travel resource could be super-powered exclusively for your unique travel needs.
Next will be themed experiences and durations at locations. You could take a trip you love, and super-power it with special experiences in each location, set themed placeholders, and tailor several other things. All supertrips could be optimized by geography & time & budget simultaneously for maximum curiosity in given conditions.
