Ingeenee is on the verge of massive scalability. Yesterday we blogged about important strategic step — update of the Curious API — that Curiosio web site is running on. Today we will give you curious trips in Australia, and describe UI changes.

Australia

Here is a rationale why Australia. Our technology is cutting-edge, it is being designed every day. We are building it incrementally. Compounding is mandatory, to grow complexity, until we give you most curious trips in the United States and whole World. Different countries are of different sizes. Sizes are geometrical (areas, distances, shapes, roads) and touristic (number of POIs, variety of POIs, experiences). Italy and France were very rich of classical POIs, i.e. touristically big. Australia is geometrically big, even huge.

Facelift

We ran more user tests. Not massively at all, but real tests. Discovered that there is a distinct segment of people who requires text description. Majority of people wants imagery. This makes sense, as overall experience of the landing page conveys our value proposition. This doesn’t contradict with our vision of Una Curiosità. Peculiar curiosities will happen later & deeper in the web site. So far we have made first steps to make the landing page more talkative.

The page became slightly out of balance, but wait a bit. We will apply few more things during next few weeks. There must be 10x better landing page soon. We have tested mockups already. Open question: what to do with really small screen sizes, like iPhone 5/SE? We don’t know yet. Most probably we will drop UI items and fit bare utility function there.

One more small improvement done. Locations of your overnight stay and inbound & outbound airports are in uppercase.

Thank you for reaching this point! It’s good to go to beta3.ingeenee.com.
